Assetly

Terms of Use

Last updated 13 September 2026

Assetly shows you what you own and writes you a short brief about it. Using it means you agree to the terms below.

What Assetly is

Assetly is a personal portfolio tracker. It records the holdings you enter or import, prices them with public market data, and writes and narrates a brief that describes what moved and why. It is free to use.

Not financial advice

Every brief, insight, answer and figure in Assetly is information about your own holdings. None of it is investment, tax or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Briefs are written by a language model from market data and news and can be wrong, late or incomplete. Check figures against your brokerage before acting on them. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions.

Brokerage connections

Connecting a brokerage goes through SnapTrade and is read-only. Assetly cannot place trades, move money or change anything in your brokerage account. Your brokerage credentials never pass through Assetly. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

Your account

Acceptable use

Do not use Assetly to probe, overload or interfere with the service, to scrape market data or generated content at scale, or for anything unlawful. Accounts used that way may be closed.

Availability and changes

Assetly is an independent personal project and is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Prices, news and briefs may be delayed or unavailable. Features may change or be withdrawn. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assetly and its author are not liable for any loss, including investment losses, arising from your use of the app or reliance on anything in it.
